Commitment to Legal Help
When people call an attorney, they don’t want to speak to a person who is not an attorney about their case specifics. We don’t believe in putting any barriers between your case and the lawyer that will be representing you. When you call into the firm, you will speak with or receive a call back from a licensed attorney.
Commitment to Personal Service
Choosing an attorney is a very important decision. People come to attorneys in times of need and deserve personal attention and time. No matter what the legal matter is, we work with our clients to deliver service that is not typical of a law firm. Our firm is built on our clients’ satisfaction, and we want to be a law firm you are proud to have representing you in all your times of need.
Commitment to Excellence
Legal work demands an eye for detail, an in-depth understanding of the law and how it can be appropriately applied. Whether it’s in writing or in front of a judge and jury, our firm will provide the in depth and thorough analysis and arguments that even the most demanding judges respond to.
Commitment to Communication
One of the most frustrating elements for legal clients is a lack of communication. We take tremendous pride in making sure all of our clientele are thoroughly communicated with on all relevant issues pertaining to their case. Don’t spend your time worrying about the unknown. You can rest easy knowing that you have a competent attorney working for you.

During our first consultation after we have been retained, expect us to go over in detail, the benefits and drawbacks of the various types of business entities, all the state and local requirements, your plan for finances and taxes and the risk mitigation measures we can take to better protect your business.
During our first consultation once we have been retained, expect us to go over in detail, your governing documents (these are the covenants and regulations that apply to your association), any correspondence you have received from your community association, your payment history to the association if the issue is non-payment of assessments, any pictures you have of the condition at issue on your property if it the issue is a covenant violation and any proposals you are considering as a resolution to be presented to the association on your behalf.
During our first consultation once we have been retained, expect us to go over in detail, your note and mortgage, your payment history, any communication you have had with your financial institution, any refinancing you may have started, any short sale offer your may considering, and any court papers you have received such as a Summons and Complaint. We will also go over your current situation to see what alternative solution suits your situation the best.
During our first consultation once we have been retained, expect us to go over in detail, whether your contract is written or verbal, whether you have a copy of the contract if it is written, the sequence of events that led to the dispute, any correspondence between the parties to the contract and any third party that is relevant to the dispute and any document that supports damages you may be incurring. The LMB Law Firm specializes in Telephone Consumer Protection Act ("TCPA") law. The TCPA is a federal statute that governs solicitations performed via telephone calls and text messages. Our firm can guide you through the proper ways to stay in compliance with the TCPA and avoid hefty fines. Contact us to find out more about our TCPA services.
We set an appointment and discuss your case and go through all necessary documentation (either face to face or Skype). At this point we will either: take your case, direct your case to another attorney or let you know if we do not believe you have a case.
What to bring to a consultation: any relevant documentation pertaining to your case including receipts, letters, pictures, insurance information, contracts, leases, any court documents that you may already have, just to name a few.
What to expect from an initial consultation: During your initial consultation, we will start by listening to the issue you are facing. We will then determine whether the facts as you present them to us support a case. It is possible that the facts do not suffice to initiate a cause of action. It is also possible that another attorney is better suited to address this particular issue.
Should you wish to retain our services, we work out a retainer and the contract where you officially hire the firm to represent you. Retainers and rates vary by case complexity and type.
In the event we think we can provide valuable legal service to you, the consultation will then entail us explaining the formation of the attorney-client relationship, should you choose to engage the firm: the representation agreement. In that agreement, we lay out all the terms of our representation for you. We explain what our fees are, what your rights are, how and when we bill for our time and other relevant details to the attorney-client relationship. We will explain all the clauses so you understand how the attorney-client relationship will unfold.
You have now hired the firm!
